Love this green

I have used this green in fingering weight to make Norwegian Nisse and lately I have been using the worsted weight to make Harepus, a Norwegian child’s pullover by Wenche Roald. It blends beautifully with the Pink Tweed, Natural and Brown Heather.
The challenging but fun part is discovering that a pattern written for fingering weight is turning out well using worsted weight. Sz 2 in fingering seems to be about Sz 10 in worsted!
While the rustic yarns may feel a bit stiff while knitting with them, once you wash them (in cold water) that goes away.
I love this yarn for outdoors sweaters, throws and blankets. Stay cozy!
(I am still finishing the sweater and did make some design changes but you can find the pattern on Ravelry. It is now available in English.)

Yarn-y yarn of the sheepi-est best kind!

Great, affordable, Canadian yarn in nice colours for your cosiest garments! Nice and rustic! Has that awesome wooly smell! I used this purchase as the background/main colour of a colourwork hat, Love Autumn Hat by Monika Anna.

Ever better than expected

The Olive Green Worsted Weight yarn was even lovelier than I had expected when it arrived! It is going to make an absolutely beautiful sweater. Happy birthday to me from me…and Topsy ;)

I ordered one skein of this yarn as I wasn't sure about the colour and I really wanted worsted but it wasn't available at the time. This colour is amazing and I can't wait to cast on a hat with lots of cables. I hope Winter comes soon.
